The event

Where arbitration in Romania takes the floor.

The European Court of Arbitration invites professionals to the European Court of Arbitration Days in Romania, in Bucharest: a main conference on 27 October, followed by a masterclass on 28 October.

The Days bring together judges, arbitrators, adjudicators and mediators from across Europe to look at how disputes are resolved in specific sectors, and why hyper-specialised arbitrators and arbitration rules dedicated to particular industries matter. They also look at the advantages of Romanian law as lex arbitri and/or lex executionis loci, and at the potential of Romania as a credible regional forum.

Launch

The first guide to business arbitration in Romanian jurisdiction.

During the conference, participants take part in the launch of the guide "Business arbitration: the guide for beginners and advanced users", published with C.H. Beck Romania, the first legal publisher to partner the Days.

From choosing the right arbitrators to choosing the arbitral institution that meets the standards the parties agreed on, the guide introduces litigants, professional or not, to the advantages of business arbitration and, above all, to how accessible it is.
